Our Story

Started with One Bike and a Simple Idea

ANNARADDY VANDI grew out of a straightforward observation: renting a two-wheeler in Chennai should not involve jumping through hoops. No app downloads, no surge pricing, no hidden fees buried in the fine print. Just a clean bike, a fair rate, and a handshake.

Rajaappan Anna M. Raddy started this business because he saw too many people — students, working professionals, visitors — struggle to find a reliable ride without getting overcharged. The idea was simple: keep a small, well-maintained fleet, price it honestly, and treat every customer the way you would want to be treated if you were the one renting.

Today, we operate out of Valasaravakkam with a fleet of twelve bikes and scooters covering everything from budget-friendly commuters to touring machines that can handle a weekend trip to Pondicherry. We are still small, still independent, and still run the same way we started — one conversation at a time.

Safety Practices

What We Do Before You Ride

🛠 Pre-Rental Servicing

Oil levels, brake fluid, chain tension, coolant — every bike gets a full once-over before it goes out. If something needs replacing, we replace it.

🛒 Tyre and Brake Check

We measure tread depth and test brake response on every bike. Worn tyres and soft brakes do not leave our garage.

💡 Lights and Electricals

Headlamp, tail lamp, indicators, horn — all tested and confirmed working. Night riding should never be a gamble.

🛡 Helmet Provided

One ISI-certified helmet comes with every rental at no extra cost. Need a second one for a pillion? That is just fifty rupees a day.

📄 Insurance Coverage

Every bike carries valid third-party insurance as required by Indian law. We keep the paperwork current so you do not have to worry about it.

📞 Roadside Support

If something goes wrong on the road, call us. During operating hours we will either send help or arrange a replacement, depending on the situation.
